Sauti za Busara

One of East Africa's most respected live‑music showcases, Sauti za Busara celebrated its 22nd edition in 2025 with the theme “Voices for Peace”, channeling the power of music to build unity.  Spread across three stages nestled within the UNESCO‑listed lanes of Stone Town, the festival drew over 400 artists from 12+ countries over three magical days.
The lineup featured local legends such as Thandiswa Mazwai, Blinky Bill, Christian Bella & Malaika Band, and Tanzania’s Zanzibar Taarab Heritage Ensemble. From vibrant carnival parades to intimate acoustic sessions, guests soaked up a fusion of taarab, Afro‑soul, and fusion rhythms—all backed by Zanzibar's sunset panoramas and salt‑scented streets.
